Our leadership team brings decades of experience in commercial transportation, operations, education, and workforce development, united by a shared commitment to preparing students for successful careers in the trucking industry.
Zach Peck
Chief Operations Officer
Zach is the Chief Operating Officer of Zeta Driving School, where he oversees all day-to-day training and range operations. He is responsible for ensuring every student develops the skills needed to master pre-trip inspections, range maneuvers, and on-road driving. Zach has led the school's operations for the past two years and has been part of the Zeta team for three.

Before joining Zeta, Zach was the Managing Partner of Hammer Down Express, a FedEx Ground contractor. During his eight years leading the company, he grew the business from two trucks to a fleet of twelve before successfully selling it. Along the way, he gained hands-on experience as both a professional driver and operations manager.
​
Zach began his trucking career as an over-the-road team driver after earning his CDL. Before entering the transportation industry, he served six years in the United States Navy as a Tomahawk cruise missile technician and Naval Fire Control System technician, traveling the world while serving his country.
Renita Hale
Admissions Director
Renita earned her Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in 2013 and has built a career in transportation, operations, and workforce development. After serving as an Operations Manager for a major bakery corporation, she joined Citizen in 2021 before becoming one of the first instructors at Zeta Driving School in 2022. As an instructor, she trained and mentored future commercial drivers, helping them build the skills and confidence needed for successful careers.

Later that year, Renita transitioned into Admissions, where she now helps prospective students navigate the enrollment process, explore funding opportunities, and take the first step toward a rewarding career in the trucking industry.

Outside of work, Renita's greatest inspiration is her daughter, who motivates her to lead by example and make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Connie Detweiler
Chief Academic Officer
After starting my career as an over-the-road truck driver, I discovered a passion for teaching and helping others build successful careers in the trucking industry. For more than 20 years, I have dedicated myself to training, mentoring, and preparing the next generation of professional drivers.

Throughout my career, I have instructed students at several CDL training schools and owned and operated my own driving school. I joined Zeta Commercial Driving School in February 2022 as one of its founding instructors and have been proud to help build a program centered on safety, professionalism, and real-world success.
​
The most rewarding part of my job is watching students gain confidence behind the wheel and achieve their goal of earning a CDL. I am committed to providing high-quality, hands-on instruction and the guidance each student needs to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence for a successful career in the transportation industry.
